High Frequency PCB
A High Frequency PCB is a printed circuit board designed to carry RF and microwave signals with minimal loss and distortion. It is typically used in applications above about 1 GHz, or whenever signal integrity is highly sensitive to dielectric constant (Dk), dissipation factor (Df), and impedance stability. To achieve low attenuation and consistent performance, high-frequency PCBs often use specialized laminates such as PTFE or Rogers materials, along with controlled-impedance stackups, microstrip/stripline routing, tight fabrication tolerances, and carefully selected surface finishes.
